The new section is characterized by incorporating new garden areas related to the existing trees, combined with resting spaces and recreational-sports activities. The central area is differentiated from the sides, with the former paved with sand, promoting better management of runoff and an increase in permeability compared to the pre-existing situation.

The landscaped areas are strategically placed to favor the collection of runoff and contribute to the natural water cycle before being discharged into the sewage system. The incorporation of new species with low water requirements helps increase biodiversity and reduce the urban heat island effect.
